Bharathanatyam & Natyashastra
Offering Bharathanatyam lessons is the primary focus of NRITHYANJALI SCHOOL OF DANCE.  Our students are trained in both the practicals and the theory of Bharathanatyam called the Natyashastras. Natyashastras offer a systematic education in the basic dance steps(Adavus), hand gestures (Mudra), eye movements (Nethra/Dhrishti), neck movements (Attami), rhythms (Taal), facial expressions (Bhava), and the other rules and principles that make up the the foundation of Bharathanatyam.

Other Indian Classical Dances
In addition to Bharathanatyam, we offer  a glimpse of other Indian classical dances like Kathak, Kuchpudi & Odissi to our students.

Semi-Classical & Folk
At NRITHYANJALI SCHOOL OF DANCE, we strongly recommend all dancers to pursue Bharatanatyam because of the intense and disciplined method of learning that it offers. However, when learning Bharatanatyam is not feasible or is not of interest to the student, the student may opt to learn semi-classical dances, or folk dances. Non-Bharatanatyam students will be taught  the  dances on an as needed basis to complement and enhance the dance items that they are learning at any given time.

Specialty Dances
We also offer specialty dances such as Snake dance and Peacock dance.
